Nihola FLEX2: stability, simplicity and accessibility
The Nihola FLEX2 uses the stable, proven steering system that has built Nihola's reputation for more than twenty years.
It takes a wheelchair up to 73 cm wide. The canopy tilts backwards and lifts off easily, without any tools. The front support is simple to operate and keeps the trike perfectly stable while the wheelchair is boarding or leaving.

Nihola Cycles actively supports the mission and the work of Cycling Without Age.
For every Nihola Taxi or Nihola FLEX2 sold to one of the association's chapters, Nihola pays a financial contribution directly to Cycling Without Age.
We encourage the association's chapters to choose trikes whose purchase helps sustain their mission, whether or not the model is a Nihola. This commitment is, in fact, one of the very foundations of Cycling Without Age's work.

Once electrified: assisted speed limited to 25 km/h (that is the law, for everyone), approved 250 W motor — and it is the torque, in newton-metres, that makes the real difference when setting off and on hills. Our kits range from 125 to 500 W: above 250 W, use is restricted to private land, at your own responsibility — we will tell you frankly if your needs justify it.

Understanding battery, motor and range
The battery = the tank
Its capacity is measured in watt-hours (Wh): voltage (V) multiplied by amp-hours (Ah). More Wh means more kilometres between charges, but neither more speed nor more power.
The motor = the strength
What matters is torque, in newton-metres (Nm): it makes the difference when setting off, on hills and with children or a load. For an electrically assisted bicycle, European law limits power to 250 W and cuts assistance at 25 km/h: maximum assisted speed is therefore the same for all; a higher-torque motor reaches it more easily, even when loaded.
Range = your use
With the same battery, range varies a lot depending on the assistance level chosen (from Eco to Turbo), hills, the weight carried, average speed, wind, tyre pressure and cold weather, which reduces capacity.
The right motor and battery depend on your route (hills, distance, load, passengers): we choose them together when you send us your request.

The nihola 4.0 is the cargo bike for families and institutions: the same stable ride as the other niholas, front support stands when parked, and a low entry so children can climb in on their own. Delivered with a bench for two children.
The Family Generation 2 with mid-drive motor: up to 100 kg of load in the cabin, with a bench for two children up to 7-8 years old. Alternatively, a carrycot or car seat can be fitted at the back of the cabin.
The NIHOLA MAXX combines a 120 x 80 cm Euro-pallet platform, an optional box of approximately 600 L and extensive modularity for professional use. Total payload is 200 kg including the rider.

The nihola Rehab is fitted with a transparent front, and its rain canopy has a large window: two features that give the child a lovely clear view during the ride.
The Posterbike offers the same stable, agile ride as the other niholas, put to work for your communication: it displays your advertising and carries your promotional material all over the city.
The nihola Dog is designed to carry your dog safely in its cabin — and it can also take a children's bench: the four-legged companion and the little ones travel together.
