Pedicabs S.L. has been developing its activities in the bicycle and urban mobility sector in Barcelona since 2014. In a constantly evolving market, where many players have appeared, transformed or disappeared, maintaining and growing such a specialised activity over all these years is in itself a genuine entrepreneurial achievement.
This continuity reflects our experience, the trust of our customers, and our ability to adapt to the deep transformations of urban mobility.
Two complementary divisions
Over the course of its history, Pedicabs S.L. has developed two activities that reinforce each other:

Dedicated to bike rental in Barcelona, to discover the city in a different way.
Visit the siteA third division, Happy Bike Shop, dedicated in particular to BMX, wound down following the significant decline of the BMX wave. Knowing how to focus our strength on the activities of the future is also part of our story.

Expertise built since 2014
Among these activities, Happy Cargo Bike holds a special place. Since 2014 we have been supporting private customers, families, professionals and companies in Barcelona in choosing, using and maintaining their cargo bikes.
This hands-on experience has given us in-depth knowledge of the different solutions available: longtails, bakfiets-style front-loaders, cargo trikes and professional cargo bikes, particularly for delivery, urban logistics, technical services and maintenance activities.
But our trade is not simply about selling a bike. We support our customers over time: advice before purchase, choosing the vehicle according to its use, after-sales service, maintenance and repair.

Our longevity: our best calling card
We were here when the cargo bike market was starting to take shape in Barcelona. And we are still here today.
Since 2014, the market has changed considerably. Many companies, brands and new concepts have appeared. Some have grown, others have disappeared.
We have come through these different stages and continue our activity with the same conviction: the cargo bike still has considerable room to grow in Catalonia and, more broadly, in Spain.
Barcelona, a formidable reserve of growth
Spain still lags behind several European markets where the cargo bike is deeply integrated into daily travel habits — notably Germany, Belgium and Denmark. The contrast is all the more striking given that those countries deal with climatic conditions far less favourable than Barcelona's.
Barcelona has precisely the assets that Europe's great cycling cities could envy: a particularly favourable Mediterranean climate, a dense city, distances suited to cycling and considerable potential for lighter, more practical and more sustainable urban mobility.
Spain's current lag is not a permanent weakness. On the contrary, it represents a formidable reserve of growth. We do not believe we are reaching the end of a market: we believe we are still at the beginning of the real development of the cargo bike in Spain.
We were there when this market was taking shape.
More than ten years later, we are still here — and we fully intend to be here for what comes next.
